Hate to admit it...but I seem to be flaky at times. Two out of my first three posts I said I would "do something" and I never did. Did I ever make the red velvet cake pops over the weekend? No, nope, nada. Ended up buying all the ingredients and it's still sitting on the kitchen counter. Attempted Master Cleanse for the second time? No, nope, nada. Got a sore throat (probably from talking to much) and decided not to make it worse with lemon juice and cayenne pepper.
Bummer. I'm such a disappointment to myself. Must stay focused on ONE idea and go with it. I'm all over the place these days.
Any suggestions on how to stay grounded? Help a girl out! =)

Master Cleanse anyone?
During early December I was literally obsessed with the idea of completing the master cleanse. Went out to B&N on Christmas Eve and used my company holiday gift card to purchase The Complete Master Cleanse and read it religiously. Yes, the bf figured I had completely lost my mind. I was preparing myself for a 7-10 day fast. Within the next few days I stopped by Wholefoods and purchased the ingredients...which was basiclly grade B maple syrup, organic lemons, organic cayenne pepper, purified water, un-iodized sea salt (for the salt water flush) and Smooth Move (herbal laxative).
As I mentally prepared myself and began the cleanse I was confident that I could only drink this for 7-10 days, feel healthier, have energy and lose 5-8 lbs!
Well let me tell you one thing...I only lasted a good 23 hours. Eventually having to give in to food. Ended up getting a sore throat from the lemon juice and cayenne pepper and even started a low fever.
It's finally March and I have been eating like a fat cow. Coffee + extra sugar + girl scout cookies for breakfast, burritos, cheese, sweets. If it's bad for you believe me I've consumed it. Point is it's starting to take a toll and I can't even get enough energy to jog a mile here and there.
I'm going to attempt the Master Cleanse very soon...possibly this Thursday and I will keep this blog as a master cleanse diary.

Sweets on a Stick
One of my favorite hobbies is to bake sweets...and I thought to myself why not bake sweets on a stick? What is it exactly? Exactly what it sounds like.
Since it is February and Valentine's Day is right around the corner I decided to have a "valentine's day" theme for these tiny, delicious, bite size treats on a stick!
Strawberry with cream cheese icing...MmmMmmm...I will attempt red velvet this weekend...more pics to come.

There's a first for everything...
First blog and not sure what to write about. I ended up watching Julie and Julia over the weekend and it got me motivated to type up my thoughts (however random they are) and to just go with it. Bare with me as I attempt blogging.
